FAQ
- Are the Bullet valve compatible with R410A? The material is compatible. The valve is rated for 500 psi, so install on the low side of the system.
- Is there an adapter for use in automotive applications? This valve has not been tested in auto applications. It is not recommended for this application.
- Can BPVs be used on harder metal tubing? Copper or Aluminum is recommended. Any other material may damage the piercing needle.
- Can BPVs be installed the system permanently? Because 'solderless' type piercing valves tend to leak over time, they should not remain on the refrigeration system after completion of the repair.
